PPF, vinyl or ceramic?

Three different products. Three different jobs. Here’s how to choose for your car.

Discuss your car

Start with the result you want

Want another color? Start with vinyl. Want help reducing stone-chip damage? Discuss polyurethane PPF. Want easier routine washing and improved surface behavior? Consider ceramic coating. No single product does all three jobs in the same way.

Vinyl: appearance comes first

Color-change vinyl can create a gloss, satin, matte or specialty finish over suitable paint. It is not a repair for unstable clear coat or body damage. The price depends on the car, material, panels and trim work.

PPF: a physical protective layer

PPF covers selected painted panels with a film designed to help reduce chips and light abrasion. It is not indestructible. Compare the exact coverage, preparation, product and written terms.

Ceramic: surface behavior and maintenance

Ceramic coating does not erase paint defects or stop road debris. Paint correction and cleaning may be needed first. The coating still needs suitable washing and product-specific aftercare.

Can they be combined?

Sometimes. Film-compatible coatings and a mix of services may suit a project. Confirm material compatibility and the installation sequence with the chosen products, rather than assuming every combination works.
